Hey, I’m Ceri!

I’m a writer, producer, host, and science communicator. I help people think critically about educational media and storytelling, especially on the internet.

Currently, I’m a freelance writer, a producer of the Project for Awesome charity livestream, and the editorial assistant for the Eisner and Hugo award-winning comic Monstress. My day job is with MIT Admissions.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed digital children’s games with GBH and YouTube series with Crash Course and Study Hall, cohosted the science comedy podcast SciShow Tangents, managed teams of 2–3 staff and 20–30 contractors, and edited hundreds of educational scripts for clarity, tone, and accuracy.

I like beagles, rain, cartoons, and green tea. The greater Boston area (the unceded territory of the Nipmuc nation) is my home base right now. I’m half Malaysian Chinese. I’m queer. I use she/her pronouns.
